Introduction

ET Model from China has a rapidly expanding catalogue of photo-etched and detail sets for a wide variety of kits in varying scales, together with a very prolific release schedule. This set provides a set of road wheel flanges for the Tiger I, all manufacturers. For that distressed touch.

The set is supplied in a small semi-rigid blister pack, inside a small ziploc bag, all wrapped up in bubblewrap. There are two types of flanges included in the set to account for the two types of roadwheel fitted, i.e. inner and outer.

Each set of flanges is supplied still attached to a pouring block in a set of four, the set containing 16 in total. After careful removal, each flange is simply affixed in place of a roadwheel. Each is moulded from a cream-coloured resin, and free from flash and air bubbles. Even the tiny bolt holes are moulded clearly.

They can be used for damaged tanks, workshop tanks, use some for removing just the outer wheels as in transporting by rail, although you'll need transport tracks too for that.

Conclusion

A very nicely manufactured set, at a very reasonable price too. Even if you have nothing planned, they're a very useful addition to the spares box. Recommended.
