Linked Medium is used if you wish to allow viewers of that image to be able to click on it and redirect them to the actual gallery image. This option is best if you have a higher resolution image that you would like to allow viewers to see.
Medium Image is used to display the medium sized image without allowing viewers to be redirected to the gallery image.
